Stay Safe with a Driving Curfew

Driving Curfew

A driving curfew for 17-year-old motorists will have the effect of preventing drivers at or under this age from using their cars after a certain point in the day. This is one form of the many driving limitations which may be imposed on 17-year-old motorists. Such restrictions may also extend to the passengers who are permitted to be in the car with a 17-year-old driver, both in terms of the nature of their relationship with the other people in the car as well as the number of people who can be in the car at the same time.

17-year-old drivers should thus look into whether these driving limitations, or any others, will be imposed on them, as is likely to be the case. Beyond this caution, it should be noted that curfew laws for 17-year-old drivers can vary by state or local jurisdiction.
